Nvidia Buys British microprocessor developer Arm from Japanese SoftBank`s


NVIDIA announced the purchase of the British microprocessor developer Arm from the Japanese holding company SoftBank. The deal will amount to $ 40 billion. Arm develops chips for most mobile devices. The largest buyers of its products are Apple, Samsung and Qualcomm. According to Bloomberg, Arm technology is used in more than 1 billion smartphones sold annually. On this news, shares of the largest American company for the production of graphics processors NVIDIA became the leaders in terms of the volume of transactions on the Moscow Exchange.
